Performance appraisal or Performance evaluation is usually an annual chore that many managers are not very comfortable with. Hence the long delays in getting the promotions and salary increments completed as the appraisals have not been returned back. I have attempted to simplify the whole exercise and help bring more logic that may be palatable to the employee as they perceive themselves at the receiving end of many an appraisal!
